A wonderful opportunity for a dedicated nanny to join a family in Philadelphia on a live-in basis. You will be caring for one G9 year round, and B11 during school holidays only.

This busy household needs a confident all rounder who can manage all areas of care relating to the child. Mum travels for work on a weekly basis and therefore the role involves regular proxy-parenting. You will be responsible for grocery shopping and preparing meals, supporting her personal routines, school pick-ups/drop-offs, liaising with teachers, managing a busy academic and activity schedule and helping with homework, reading and exam prep.

You will be a native English speaker and being a confident driver is a must. The family are looking for a nanny with a firm but fair approach that can build a warm connection with the child and be a positive role model. You will have your own bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with a separate entrance to the family home. There will be plenty of down time at weekends and during the day while the child is at school.

The home is in close proximity to school and all of the child’s afterschool activities and tutors and there are good public transport links close by. There are currently no pets in the home but there are family dogs which regularly spend time there so dog lovers are preferred.
